Registered Training Organisation

Berendale School has acquired status as a Registered Training Organisation 21410 and delivers Training Package Qualifications and Nationally Recognised Course. Berendale School offers Vocational Education and Training (VET) and the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning-Foundation Level (VCAL).

Berendale School is a training organisation registered in accordance with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) to provide vocational education, training and/or assessment services leading Nationally recognised Training Package Qualifications. To maintain our registration we must satisfy the AQTF 2007 Quality Assurance Standards. Compliance with these standards ensures that we satisfy the management, organisational, delivery and assessment standards necessary to provide quality Vocational Education and Training.

This process defines Berendale School RTO scope, which indicates the range of VET qualifications offered by Berendale RTO. Our scope then appears on the national register of all Registered Training Organisations which is located on the National Training Information Service website: www.ntis.gov.au

Validation is the process of assessment against the AQTF standards and is subject to periodic review to ensure that our Quality Assurance processes are maintained. The following Qualifications and Accredited Courses are available through Berendale RTO:

  • Certificate I in Information Technology

  • Certificate II in Information Technology

  • Certificate II in Horticulture

  • Certificate II in Community Recreation

  • Certificate I in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations)

  • Certificate 1 in Hospitality

  • Certificate II in Nail Technology

  • Certificate II in Automotive Technology Studies

  • Certificate I in Transition Education

  • Certificate I in Introductory Vocational Education

Units within these courses are chosen for our students. Subject can change each year. At the end of each year, students will be issued with either Certificate of Participation, Certificate of Attainment or if a full course is completed, the equivalent qualification.
